AGR	Alpha Governance Rating. Letter-grade assessment (AAA-D) of a company’s AI governance posture across 12 dimensions.
GMI	Governance Materiality Index. Quantifies how material AI governance risk is to a specific company (1-100).
AGIQ	Alpha Governance IQ. Measures individual and organizational AI governance readiness (0-200).
GEH	Governance Event Horizon. 12-month governance failure probability (0-100%). Always reported with confidence interval.
DPD	Disclosure-Practice Divergence. Gap between what a company says and what evidence shows (-100 to +100).
GST	Governance Stress Test. Regulatory scenario exposure rating (Critical/Elevated/Manageable/Prepared).
AGR-A	Agentic Deployment Rating. AI agent deployment governance assessment (AAA-D).
AART	Agentic AI Risk Tier. Tier 1-4 risk classification for companies deploying autonomous AI agents.

Framework

Term	Definition
The Alpha Standard	The 12-dimension governance assessment framework (current: v4).
D2R Map	Dimension-to-Regulation Map. Mandatory mapping of each dimension score to specific regulatory articles (EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF).
Rating Profile	Developer, Deployer, or Hybrid. Determines how dimension weights are applied based on a company’s AI business model.
Alpha Trajectory	Direction of governance posture: Advancing, Stable, or Declining.
Alpha Watch	Positive Watch (potential upgrade), Negative Watch (potential downgrade), or None.
Concern Ceiling	Mechanism that caps overall grade when a critical dimension falls below threshold.
Corrigibility Event	Documented instance where governance overrode a capability deployment or commercial decision. Highest-weight D12 evidence.
Standards Crosswalk	Mapping between Alpha’s 12 dimensions and regulatory requirements (EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF).
